Marketing Sydney’s West
On Thursday 8th June, WSBC launched the visitor strategy and first year marketing plan for the metropolis to an audience of 300 members, government and civic leaders. The strategy sets out the path to securing 13 million visitors by 2030 and a plan of generating some 180,000 incremental visitors by June 2018. We now embark on the execution phase of the strategy. Over the next 8 weeks we will be engaging with existing and new members and discussing how each and everyone can get involved in leveraging the strategy into business opportunity. Winning Business Series I October & November 2017
Want to win more business in Western Sydney?
WSBC is delighted to announce a ground breaking new event series designed at helping Western Sydney SMEs win business in this, once in a generation, investment boom.
The series will kick off with our October 19 Business Leader Luncheon: Winning Business in Western Sydney’s Infrastructure Boom, which will provide an update on two major projects (Western Sydney Airport and Westmead Health Precinct). We will also take a look at what local business engagement and procurement initiatives are in place for these major projects to ensure a lasting legacy for the local economy.
Following the business leader luncheon, and in partnership with the NSW Department of Industry and Industry Capability Network (ICN), we will be hosting the Winning Business Procurement Workshop on October 24. This workshop is designed to increase your chances of being shortlisted for government and commercial contracts. You will also hear from industry experts on how to crack the supply chain in Western Sydney.
To round out the series, the Winning Business Strategic Matching Event will be held on November 16, giving businesses the opportunity to receive up to five, 15 minute interviews with pre-qualified organisations currently in the market for local suppliers.
